What would happen if a chinese person comes to Barranquilla?

According to Lewis model, China is categorized as a reactive culture. This means that Chinese people are listeners, they prefer to listen the other person, then reacting and later they  start to eplain their position. Instead, Barranquilla is a multi-active culture, they are very flexible and they like to express themselves with their body.  

If a chinese person comes to Barranquilla to do a study abroad, he or she could face some problems. For example, Chinese people take their time to answer because they assemble a variety of strategies, this would bother some Colombian, because they tend to have a weak tolerance for silence. Also we have that mostly of chinese people are introverted which leads a subtle body language, while Colombian people have an extroverted behavior; in case of a social meeting,the chinese could feel alone or out of place. Also, reactive cultures like China tend to use names less frequently, in comparison with Barranquilla where the formalism is less; the person who comes to Barranquilla might have a few problems with that. In conclusion, according to Lewis model, Barranquilla and chinese cultures are differents which leads that a person who comes from China could have some problems.
